A Camp that send teams of scavengers out on missions.

The Scavenger Camp is made by converting a Material Post (it will be the same level as it was previously) Takes 15 mins.
The Scavenger Camp can be converted back in a Material Post (same level) Takes 15 mins.

The first 3 character slots unlock at Scavenger Camp Level 1.
The 4th character slot unlocks at Scavenger Camp Level 5.
The 5th character slot unlocks at Scavenger Camp Level 10.

Does the level of the camp improve the quality of mission we can do ?

Definitely. Each camp level unlocks a new gold mission, and completing it will unlock new and more valuable repeatable missions for you. Keep in mind that each new gold mission also requires that you have completed the previous gold missions, and that you have reached a certain point in the main story map, so you may not see them immediately upon leveling up your camp. You have one pool of missions, shared between your camps, so the main reason to level up your other camps is to increase the team caps for your additional teams. Dash *Scopely*

Is there something to gain to have secondary camps higher than lv 10 ?

The team cap (dog tags) for each team is based on the level of its camp, so to use more higher end teams on simultaneous better missions you'll need to level up your other camps. This is currently bugged and going off your player level, but it'll be fixed in an future update. Dash *Scopely*

So all missions are from the same pool? So I can't run multiple beanie reward missions at the same time from separate scavenger posts?

Does the leader drop bonus apply to characters on a scavenging mission?

Leader skills and weapons don't impact scavenger missions at all at the moment. This is something we hope to improve in a future update, so people can build better synergized teams. Dash *Scopely*

Can we get other than GOLD Mission that reward us with XP ?

There already is one actually - it's unlocked at camp level 16. You can also earn character xp in random encounters in some missions.

We could probably add one or two at lower levels, but we want xp missions to be a cool bonus, not a replacement for the regular levelling process. Dash *Scopely*

Gold Missions Edit

Gold missions always offer Character XP rewards, these level the Characters that have been selected for the mission.

In order to unlock a new Gold mission you must first complete the existing one.
The order of Gold missions:

And you can only do it once for each, after that no more Gold missions !

If you have no gold missions and you do not have a level 20 Scavenger Camps, +1 Level upgrade to your highest camp.
If you have a level 20 camp and you have done River of Dreams your done there is no more gold mission.

Character Points (XP) Edit

Certain missions reward you with Character XP, these experience points are shared out between the characters you have selected for the Scavenger Mission and do not go towards your overall XP total. They can level up, and if they do while a lvl up tourney is running, you do get renown points for the level ups. If you send Maxed characters the xp they should have gained will be lost and not transferred to other character in the mission.

Xp points are distributed evenly to all 5 characters - if you send maxed characters only the character that isn't leveled will gain xp & only 1/5 of the xp from the mission if you send all 5 & only one isn't maxed for example

Challenge Bonus: Edit

In some cases a Challenge Bonus reward is given for completing a scavenger mission, the exact reason why is currently unknown. These rewards include: various Cache's, Coins, Survivors, Food, Materials, Energy Refills etc. Certain mission seem to give a random assortment of these rewards, where as others have a fixed challenge reward.

If you find a way to have increase chance to get challenge bonus reward let us know !

Green mission called OODA takes 1 hour 30 minutes, rec grade B++, 1 leader and 2 tough and 1 peacekeeper = challenge bonus of +50% to success rate. Mission rewards are 4,200 wood and x36 survivors. DESCRIPTION: Observe, orient, decide, act. Bonus is 1) x6,500 food or 1 world tank. or 2) 6500 food and 1 world tank or 3) 6500 food and 1 world refill.

Green mission: called RUNNER takes 1 hour 30 minutes. rec grade C++, 1 hunter and 1 soldier = challenge bonus of +20% to success rate and 10% to time reduction (1hr 21 min). Mission rewards: x1,700 wood and common gear cache(work gloves and wrinkled shirts). DESCRIPTION: Assist a trapped crew in a nearby warehouse. Bonus is 1) x6,500 wood or 2) x1 world tank.

Green mission: called GUNS AND BUTTER takes 3 hours, rec grade C+, 1 citizen and 1 strong and 1 soldier = challenge bonus +20% to success rate and 10% to time reduction(2hours 42 min ). mission rewards are 2100 wood and healing items cache. DESCRIPTION: Ammo and food are low, send a team to find either. Skip x81 coins. Bonus is 1) x1 world tank.

Green mission called MARK OF THE BEAST takes 1 day, rec grade C+, 1 soldier and 1 hunter = challenge bonus of 50% to success rate. Mission rewards are x4,800 wood and 1 world tank. DESCRIPTION: Find and eliminate the wolfpack menace. Bonus is both 1) x6,500 wood and x5 survivors

Orange mission: called 'KILL 'EM ALL'. takes 8 hours. rec grade B+. Mission reward 47,800 wood. 4 soldiers = challenge bonus +35% to success rate. DESCRIPTION: The local bandits need to be sent a message. Bonus is 1) x1 World energy refill or 2) x10,000 wood.

Red/purple mission: called '....AND JUSTICE FOR ALL' takes 2 days, rec grade A, 1 soldier and 2 citizen and 1 rebel = challenge bonus of +50% to success rate. Mission rewards are 23,000 wood and 1 world tank. DESCRIPTION: Kill the leader of the nearest bandit camp. Bonus is 1)20 Survivors or 2)x20 survivors and x1 world refill.

Red/purple mission called MOTHS TO FLAME takes 5 days 0 hours, rec grade is A++, 1 human shield and 2 soldiers and 1 leader = challenge bonus of +65% to success rate and 25% to time reduction(3 days 18 hours). DESCRIPTION: A rescue comes with a few strings attached. Bonus is 1) 24,500 food and 1 world tank refill or 2) 24,500 food. Notes: just to see what happens, I sent out A+ team and still got bonus.

Red mission called A FRIENDLY WAGER, 7 days, S1++, 5 fast = CB +80% to success rate and +30% to time reduction. Mission rewards are 25,900 wood and AR LEVEL REWARD. DESCRIPTION: Target practice gets fun. Bonus is 1) x1 world refill

Red mission called THE WAITING takes 5days,S1++,3 citizen & 1 tough & 1 peacekeeper = +80% to success rate & +30% to time reduction. Mission rewards are 75,600 wood & x2 stimulants. DESCRIPTION: The doc works on a patient. Bonus is 1) x1 world refill.

Red/purple mission called HUNTER NOW HUNTED takes 1 day, rec grade B+. 3 tough for challenge bonus of +35% to success rate. mission rewards are 9100 wood and 1 raid tank. DESCRIPTION: Three hunters stalk our friends in the woods. Bonus is ?????

Currently tracking 66 missions. So far 167 different bonus outcomes. 07/03/2016

NOTE: 6/14/2016 With the new armory update, scoplely currently isnt making new scav missions. Sometimes I have to wait over 24 hours for a mission to que up so there is no need for 4 scav camps anymore (at least for me). I converted 2 Level 20 scav camps back to material posts.

6/26/2016 It looks like its being worked on. The orange mission Bricks returned today. I hope it keeps coming back. I also did a red mission called Chance Encounter today. It has been missing for weeks. I noticed that it expired in 4-5 hours and it wasnt in the cooldown que. I know people were still complaining today that their missions (card xp missions) havent showed up yet so I dont think its fixed in all regions yet. It should be noted that some have reported that the bonus card xp from some of these missions have been changed to survivors and wood. In time we will know for sure. I got x20 survivors and rare gear bag for a bonus for BRICKS AND MORTARS today so maybe the Bonus x30,000 card xp is gone for now but the 60,000 xp just for successfully completing the mission is still great.

7/4/2016 Did orange mission BRICKS AND MORTORS today and picked up the bonus 30,000xp along with the 60,000 xp like in the past so either it was brought back after the complaints or other bonuses were added after the armory update.

- I have 4 scav camps and all 4 are Level 20.

- So far I have found 5 different bonuses on a lot of missions that I replayed over and over.

- yellow scav missions that take 1 day to several days to complete. After completing the L20 required scav camp mission called RIVER OF DREAMS , the yellow/gold missions are done.

- red/purple scav missions that take 8hrs to 1 day and some take 7 days..

- orange missions that usually take 4 hours or 6 hours or 8 hours.

- green missions that take 30 minutes to 3 hours for most of them unless it has a tank for a reward then it can take 1 day or more.

- blue missions added on May 9 2016, no challenge bonus requirements.

- I noticed one of the missions says purple. I said red in my comments below.

- Some titles are named after Metallica songs.

NOTE: What you see below is what ((( I am getting ))) doing these scav missions so it may vary from the table above. So far I have added in any differences but havent had time to add in several newer missions to the main table.

NOTE: I noticed that I am getting the bonuses a lot more the second time I send out a team.

NOTE: Always make sure you have room in your storages before tapping on your completed mission as you cannot back out and if your survivors or food or wood are full, you will of wasted your reward and/or bonus.

NOTE: I regrouped the missions by color of mission to make it easier to read.

NOTE: If you complete a mission and get a great bonus and decide to use that same exact team in the exact same order the next time that mission is available, you may not get the bonus. For me, it averages every other time that I get the bonus on the high reward bonuses such as card xp.

Mission rewards are 570,000 wood and 250 depot points and 50,000 card xp. DESCRIPTION: A power boat is found. Bonus is 1) 24,500 food & 30,000 card xp & 17,000 wood.

Yellow mission called THE DAM takes 6 days 12 hours, rec grade is S1++, 1 tough and 2 strong and 1 minimum 3* leader = challenge bonus +80% to success rate. Mission rewards are 554,000 wood and 250 depot points, 48,000 card xp and 554,000 food. DESCRIPTION: A hydroelectric plant is explored. Bonus is 1) 17,000 wood

Mission rewards are 523,000 wood and 250 depot points and 46,000 card xp and 51 survivors. DESCRIPTION: This is the South. Prepare for a hurricane. Bonus is ????? Notes: S1 shows mission to be GUARENTEED. I might try this out instead of sending S1+. No bonus on first run as expected.

Yellow mission called GENERATOR X takes 5 days, rec grade is S1, 1 hunter 4*/5* and 1 collateral damage and 1 leader = challenge bonus +65% to success rate. Mission rewards are 507,000 wood and 200 depot points and 44,000 card xp and 1 world tank refill. DESCRIPTION: Our generators need sparkplugs. Bonus is 1)24,500 food and 15,000 wood on first run. On second run it was common card cache and 15,000 wood. Notes: I sent out a S1+ team on first try.

Yellow mission: called HEAVY METAL takes 4 days 8 hours, rec grade A++, 1 parting shot and 1 soldier and 1 rebel = +65% to success rate. Mission rewards are 491,000 wood and 200 depot pts and 42,000 xp and rare ingredient cache. DESCRIPTION: A metal press is found and put to use. Bonus is 1)24,500 food on first run, 2) x50 coins on second run.

Yellow mission: called IRON HORSE takes 4 days, A++, 3 rebels = +65% to success rate. Mission rewards are 475,000 wood, 200 depot pts, 42,000 xp, x1 raid tank. DESCRIPTION: Three motorcycles are found, but need parts. Challenge bonus is 1) 17,000 wood on first try.

Yellow mission: called THE A-TEAM takes 3 days 16 hours, rec grade A++, 1 leader and 1 rebel and 1 peacekeeper = challenge bonus of +65% to success rate. Mission rewards are x459,000 wood, 200 depot points, x40,000xp. DESCRIPTION: An offer made to another group. Bonus is 1) mystery bag that had 2*,2*,2* weapons in mine or 2) [x17,000 wood and x1 world tank refill] so far, one of each for me.

Mission rewards are 11,300 wood and 1 uncommon gear cache(running shoes and sunglasses). DESCRIPTION: A thunderstorm provides perfect cover for training. Challenge Bonus is 1) x10 survivors.

Orange mission: called IN THE TRENCHES takes 8 hours rec grade B++ 4 fast = challenge bonus +35% to success rate. Mission rewards 22,900 wood. DESRIPTION: Send a surprise team to secure the perimeter. Bonus is 1) x5 survivors or 2) x1 uncommon weapon bag.

Orange mission called FRESH MEAT takes 4 hours, rec grade B, 1 peacekeeper and 1 rebel = challenge bonus of +20% to success rate. Mission rewards: 8,300 wood. DESCRIPTION: A lone steer wanders near town. you must find and kill it. Bonus is 1)x5 survivors.

Orange mission called GONE FISHING takes 4 hours, rec grade is B+, 4 tough = challenge bonus of +35% to success rate. Mission rewards are 4000 wood and enhacement items cache (you get 3 battle items). DESCRIPTION: A fisherman falls in the frozen lake, you are the only help. Bonus is 1) 3600 food.

Orange mission called EAR TO THE GROUND takes 8 hours, rec grade A, 1 strong and 3 peacekeepers = challenge bonus of +50% to success rate. Mission rewards are x58,200 wood. DESCRIPTION: Survival skills are covered in the woods. Bonus is 1)x15 survivors or 2) 10,000 wood and 15 survivors.

Orange mission called THE PASS takes 1 day, rec grade B+, 1 citizen and 2 leaders and 1 rebel = challenge bonus of +35% to success rate and +15% to time reduction. Mission rewards are 9,600 wood and 100 depot points. DESCRIPTION: Word is an attack is eminent. Surprise them. Bonus is 1) x10 survivors.

Orange mission called WINTER'S TALE takes 8 hours, rec grade B+, 2 alert and 2 peacekeepers = +20% to success rate. Mission rewards are 35,400 wood. DESCRIPTION: Rescue a scouting crew in a blizzard. Bonus is 1) x5 survivors

Orange mission called BRICKS AND MORTAR takes 12 hours, rec grade is A++, 4 hunter and 1 leader = challenge bonus +65% success rate and +25% to time reduction(9 hours). Mission rewards are 3800 wood and 60,000 card xp. DESCRIPTION: A brick factory is discovered. Bonus is 1) 30,000 card xp or 2)(after armory update), x20 survivors and x1 rare gear bag. 3) x20 survivors. Notes 90,000 xp is same as getting 5 5*s trainers and 5 4*s trainers.

Orange mission called RAISING THE BARN takes 8 hours, rec grade is A++, 3 alert and 2 peacekeepers = challenge bonus +65% to success rate. Mission rewards are 66,000 wood. 'DESCRIPTION: 'Wood needs to be gathered for construction. Bonus is 1) 11,500 food.

Orange mission called CYCLEOPS takes 4 hours, rec grade is S1, 3 citizens and 2 peacekeepers = challenge bonus +80% success rate. Mission rewards are 13,200 wood and 26,400 food. DESCRIPTION: The kids are restless, a bicycle will build morale. Bonus is 1) x20survivors and elite rare gear bag (I got a journal) or 2) 17,500 food and rare gear bag (got camp stove on 2nd run) or 3) x20 survivors on 3 run or 4) x1 rare gear bag (I got camp stove) or 5) nothing at all.

Orange mission called PYRE IN THE HOLE takes 4 hours, rec grade is B+, 3 soldiers = challenge bonus +35% to success rate. Mission rewards are 9,900 wood. DESCRIPTION: Survivors are trapped in a fire, save them. Bonus is 1) 6,500 wood and uncommon weapons cache/bag.

Orange mission called ROPE A DOPE takes 16 hours, S1, 4 strong and 1 fast = +80% to success rate. Mission rewards are 70,700 wood. DESCRIPTION: Material is gathered for making useful rope. Bonus is 1) x50 coins

DESCRIPTION: Stake out the road for willing recruits. Bonus is 1) 6,500 food and 6,500 food or 2) 6500 food or 3) common card bag & 6500 food.

Green mission called FIGHT! takes 2 hours, A++, 4 strong and 1 fast = challenge bonus 80% to success rate and 30% time reduction.(1 hour 24 minutes) Mission rewards are 6800 food and rare ingrediant bag. DESCRIPTION: You let two townsfolk settle a dispute. Bonus is 1) x15 survivors.

Green mission called WELL, WELL, WELL takrs 2 hours, rec grade is A++, 3 fast and 2 peacekeepers = challenge bonus +80% to success rate and 30% time reduction(1 hour 24 min) Mission rewards are 1400 wood and 1 small scav supply. DESCRIPTION: Awell is found. By the good and the bad. Bonus is 1) 12,500 Wood.

I tried to get more info from using mission history but it only goes back 3 days.

Scavenger GuideEdit

1. Convert all your camps into scavenger posts - the wood you get from missions is comparable to what you get from wood makers

2. Always make sure you have one gold mission going - gold missions are progression missions & for each one you do unlocks a harder gold mission with more rewards & also unlocks other recurring missions - I.E. Flak & Beanie, world cans, raid cans, xp, character bags

3. Always make sure you guarantee missions - if not guaranteed you have a good chance at failing missions & loss the time

4. At this time there is a known glitch that allows you to run 2 of the same gold missions - feel free to run both - once you do both generator X missions (level 16 or 17 gold mission with war can rewards) my suggestion is to switch to just one gold mission for remaining as Requirements get harder

5. Do not sell your extra 4* or even 3* characters - you need as many traits and personas to be able to keep missions going all the time

6. If gold missions stop appearing you may need to upgrade your scavenger camps - also, in order to get all the gold missions you need to complete the entire world map

7. The only missions that have a scavenger leave requirement are gold missions - having one post at level 20 allows you to do all missions - we have yet to see where having a few camps that high as a benefit - for example - I have 4 camps - level 20/17/14/13

8. Several of us in the group specifically planned to keep as many 4*s as we could get because the higher missions have stringent requirements - we also level these characters to be able to keep four camps running & not interfere with our main teams (this may not be possible with everyone's roster)

9. Scavenging supplies - there is a mission called road hard where you can get mini scav supplies for free for a couple hour mission - scavenging supples are very useful to guarantee missions if you do not happen to meet the requirements

10. The higher grade your team is the better chance you have at getting challenge bonuses as long as you match the personas as described in missions - this doesn't always result in a reward

11. Reading your logs are important - the red section is a pass/fail and determines what challenge rewards you can get if any

12. Try to do as many missions as you can even in rewards appear to be bad - some of the best rewards come as challenge bonuses

NotesEdit

1. We haven't pegged down what gets certain rewards

2. We have discovered that the red sections in logs are separate events that if your team meets certain requirements can overcome & get good challenge rewards.

3. Challenge rewards are given out based on the red writing & you have the possibility to get more than one item type - example - justice for all mission has given out - food/gold/and a world can as there is three separate challenge no she's you can get potential rewards

4. Sometimes you see the extra rewards when you collect your rewards - you will see several items you get

5. Some of us in no longer get low missions - we theorize that once you do the missions a bunch of times they eventually are finished - the story & you no longer get them & new harder missions with better rewards will appear - good example is everyone getting the flak & beanie mission - it isn't a progression mission but eventually gets unlocked when you do gold missions & also finish other small junky missions

6. Another theory we have is that if you don't get any challenge bonus you don't pass that mission & get more of a % completion bonus thus getting a new mission until you get challenge bonuses - this has yet to be confirmed

7. You do not lose any survivor if you fail a mission.
